55 days. This unique Asian vegetable is similar to broccoli in several ways, but it is considerably easier to grow and even more tender and tasty! Plants can be treated like a more succulent kale, and they will develop a thick stem and nutty-flavored in-florescence that is reminiscent of broccoli and asparagus. This Chinese veggie is great for fresh eating or cooking. The succulent stems are extra thick and crisp. Endless versatility and ease of growing make this a top choice for market gardeners. Nothing goes to waste, as the tender, blue-green glossy leaves, and broccoli-like inflorescence and even open flowers are all edible and delicious. Plants are slow to bolt and are considered to be fairly disease tolerant. This is a delicious strain from Thailand and is among the best tasting of all vegetables
